May 24, 1935 - May 30, 2024 

Passed away peacefully, with his loving wife by his side on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at the age of 89 years. 

Keith Blimke of Chalk River, beloved husband of Violet Blimke (nee Felske).  Loving father of Kelly Geiger (Martin) of Deep River and Korey Blimke (Karen) of Alliston. Predeceased by sons Kirk in childhood and Kurtis in infancy. Cherished grandfather of Matthew (Courtney), Tyler (Jess), Konnor (Katie) & Kurtis (Lily), and great-grandfather of Lyndon & Wren. 

Brother of Lyndon (the late Bernice) Blimke, Feryn (Grant) Bailey, Beryl (Graydon) Knights, Judy (John) Roe, Heather (Wayne) Beamish & Wreyn (Nancy) Blimke. Survived by brother-in-law Harold Quinn and sister-in-law Lorna Blimke. Predeceased by sister Vera (the late Ken) Zadow, Murray (the late Mary and by first marriage the late Anna) Blimke, sister Marilyn Quinn and brothers Darryl Blimke, and Dwayne (the late Deanna) Blimke. Predeceased by parents Allen and Theresa “Tessie” Blimke (nee Gunning). 

 

A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at Pembroke Regional Hospital and Deep River & District Hospital for their care and compassion.

 

Respecting the family’s wishes, a private family visitation will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. followed by a private family Graveside Service at 2:15 p.m. in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Boundary Rd., Pembroke.  Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Deep River & District Health Foundation would be appreciated.
