KELLY, Katherine - passed away at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 in her 85th year. Katherine Kelly (nee Jike) of Pembroke, dearly loved wife of the late Ray Kelly. Dear mother of Erin Halliday (Ricky), Pembroke and Nancy Deschamps, Ottawa. Caring Nanny to Nicholas Deschamp. Daughter of the late Victor and Astrid Jike (nee Bengtsson). Sister of Doris Hisco and Lula Berard (late Amby). Predeceased by siblings Russell (Joyce), Ronnie Johnson, Alice Dufresne (late Leo), Elsie Houghton (late Fred), Vic Jike (late Helen) and Sonja Teschner (late Stan). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Friday, July 15, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday from 1:00-1:45 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. followed by cremation. Interment of ashes in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.
