NIGHBOR , K. June (retired CAO of the City of Pembroke) Peacefully at her home on Wednesday, September 26th, 2007. June Nighbor (nee MacMillan) of 285 Catherine Street, Pembroke, dearly loved wife of the late Frank Nighbor and by first marriage the late David Norman Cuthbertson. Dear mother of David Cuthbertson (wife Carol), Toronto; and K. Anne Phelps, Pembroke; Jeannie Berrigan, Port Hope; Nancy Nighbor, Pembroke; Mary Lou Leandro, St. Pete's, Forida; and Mark Nighbor (Susan), Stittsville. Grandmother to 10 grandchildren. Daughter of the late Alexander and Margaret MacMillan (nee Campbell). Predeceased by sister Sheila MacMillan. Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass in memory of June will be held in Our lady of Lourdes Church, Pembroke on Saturday, October 6th at 11 a.m. (In keeping with June's respect for the late Bill Higginson, expressions of sympathy to the Pembroke Regional Hospital Dialysis Unit would be appreciated).
