Judy Markus

MARKUS, JudyAnn Nancy – Passed away peacefully in Calgary on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at the age of 72 years.

Judy Markus (nee Fidler) beloved wife of the late William Alfred “Alfy” Markus.  Loving mother of Brenda Markus (Albert Rose), Marty Markus (Jen Fiebig), Susan Gilchrist (Shawn) and Tracy Schori (Late Winston).  Cherished grandmother of  Jessica Clarke, Marisa Markus, Kayla Gilchrist, Bailey Gilchrist, Cory Channing, Natasha Schori, Alison Schori and many great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Sandra Williston (Willy).  Lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and best friend Sue Deighton.  Predeceased by parents David Fidler and Rose Prescott (nee Chaput) and grandsons Alex Clarke and Travis Markus.

Respecting Judy’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  Visitation at Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Friday, November 4 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.   A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 5 at St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church, Pembroke at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment at Zion Lutheran Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church is appreciated.  Online condolences and donations available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com
