Joyce Votour

Votour, Joyce – passed away peacefully with some of her loving family by her side on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 in her 85th year.

Joyce Votour (nee Grant) of Pembroke, companion of Brian Schwartz and wife of the late Charles Votour.  Mother of Linda Wright, Rockland; Carl Votour, Houston, Texas; Christine Bennett, Pembroke; Cindy Votour, Renfrew; Garry Votour, Renfrew; and Bonnie Votour, Rockland.  Grandmother to many grandchildren & great-grandchildren.  Daughter of the late Charles & Fern Grant (nee Dow).  Sister of Eva Williams, Killaloe.  Predeceased by sons Orval, Dean, Stephen and Dwayne Votour. 

Respecting Joyce’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  Due to current restrictions, a private family graveside service will be held at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery, Douglas.  Arrangements entrusted to the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.  As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated.  Online donations & condolences are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
