Joyce Lounsbury

LOUNSBURY, Joyce (Nee GILL) Passed away suddenly at her home on Thursday, March 9th, 2006 at the age of 85 years. Joyce Lounsbury of Petawawa, born in Beckley, County of Sussex, England on October 3, 1920, dearly loved wife of the late Elton (Ed) Lounsbury (retired D.N.D.). Dearly loved mother of Marilyn Valois (husband Maynard), Kanata; Susan Shoebridge, Petawawa; and Tracy Chaepherton, Whistler, B.C. Grandmother to Megan Valois, Christian Shoebridge and Colly Shoebridge. Survived by her sister Helen Paige of Horton-Cum-Studley, Oxford, England and sister-in-law Rita Gill of Tundridge Wells, County of Kent, England. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. By request there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held in St. George's Protestant Chapel, CFB Petawawa on Saturday, April 22, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. (As an expression of sympathy donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated) Arrangements by the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
