Josh Schroeder

Our blue-eyed boy has left us and we are devastated. It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our son Joshua (Josh) Schroeder suddenly at home on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 in his 22nd year. We have struggled to find the words to write this announcement and now realize that there are no words in any language that will ease the pain, explain the hole in our hearts and in our lives. Josh is survived by his mom Lynda, step-father Dan, and step-sisters Allison and MaryEllen, his grandparents Don and Dorothy MacFarlane, Dan and Simone Stewart (Schroeder), Uncle Tom and Aunt Shelley, Uncle Dave and Aunt Lea and cousins Scott, Marla, Michael, Patrick, Lisa and Daryl, Owen and Brayden. Predeceased by Grandma MacFarlane and Grandpa Schroeder. Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Saturday, August 20th, 2016 from 11:00 until 2:00 with a Celebration of Life to immediately follow at the Pembroke Golf Course from 3:00 until 6:00, with Words of Remembrance at 4:00 p.m. We ask that you bring any pictures of Josh that you might have along with a notation on the back telling the story of the events leading to the picture. They can also be posted to his sisters' Facebook pages. Donations in Josh's memory may be made to the Robbie Dean Centre or a charity of your choice.
