POWELL, Joseph Lockard - Passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at the age of 72 years. Joseph Powell, beloved husband of Lillian (Reckzin) Powell (nee Scott). Loving step-dad to Elisa (Francis), Lil (OB), Ron, Rob (Shannon), Mark (Crystal), Joan (Frank), Lori (Ron), Ann, Sherry, Karen, Andrew (Christine), and his pets he loved dearly, Min-Min & Chewy. Survived by his many grandchildren & great-grandchildren, and siblings Dick, Evelyn & June. Joseph was a dedicated employee of Clouthier's Construction. He was a devoted fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, loved playing poker and watching NASCAR races. Visitation will be held at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Saturday, September 20, from 12-1:45 p.m. followed by a service in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. (In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice North Hastings or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.)
