WOOD, John Dudley (Past president and life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #72) Peacefully in Ottawa Civic Hospital on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at the age of 79 years. John Wood of Pembroke, beloved husband of the late Jennie Wood. Loving father of Dale Arsenault, Brampton; Pat Armstrong (Andre), Pembroke; Dan Wood (Roxanne), Red Deer, AB; and Jim Wood (Karen), Wilsonville. Papa of Chris, Kevin & Matthew Arsenault; Mike Armstrong; Sean, Ryan & Joey Wood; and Cody, Chantelle & Dylan Wood. Papa to Emma. Predeceased by daughter Donna Wolanski (Frank), Pembroke. Survived by brothers Marshall and Donald Wood. Predeceased by sister Nancy Sykes. By request there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of John's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #72 on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #72 are requested to assemble at the Legion Hall on Wednesday for a service following the Memorial.
