NOLAN, John (Jack) Douglas It is with great sadness that the family of Jack Nolan announce his passing on April 3rd 2009 in his 80th year. Jack is survived by his wife Shirley Nolan (nee Thom). He is the father of Judith Hill (Russell), Petawawa; Kenneth (Wilma) and Jeffrey (Huguette), both of Ottawa, and is predeceased by his son Douglas. He has seven grandchildren: Brent, Jason, Kevin, Tara, Tyler, Kyle and Ryan. Jack is the son of the late Albertine McLaughlin (nee Perrin) and the late Clayton Nolan of Petawawa. He has left behind two sisters, Erin Norris of Toronto and Audrey Gray of Kitchener. He also has three step-siblings: Sheila Bungay (Carl) of Saskatoon; Fred McLaughlin (Flo) of Janetville, ON and the late Wayne McLaughlin (late Gisele). Jack has several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews he will leave behind. Special thanks to Drs. Mgbemena, Rowan and Christinck and the ICU nurses of the Pembroke Regional Hospital for their special care to Jack over the last few weeks. Visitation at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Thursday, April 9th from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Prayers of Funeral Liturgy will be held at 4 p.m. in the Chapel, followed by cremation. Interment of ashes in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Petawawa at a later date.
