MACRAE, John William Peacefully at Marianhill, Pembroke with family by his side on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the age of 92 years. John MacRae of Petawawa, devoted husband of the late Mary MacRae (nee Boudreau). Cherished father of Vern McRae (wife Linda), Petawawa; Linda Neale (husband Doug), Casselman; Lucinda Vienneau (husband Jim), Petawawa and Margie McKay (husband B.J.), Petawawa. Predeceased by daughter Whynetta Slaunwhite (husband Dougie), Barrie and son John McRae. Papa to 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Memorial visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Wednesday, January 4, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. until time of the Memorial Service in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. (In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.)
