HAMMOND, John "Jack" George Anthony - passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 in his 96th year. Jack Hammond of Pembroke, dearly loved husband of Frances "Fran" Hammond (nee Borrett). Dear father of Colin Hammond (wife Terry), Pembroke; Cindy Pender (husband Terry), Ottawa; and Janice McCann (husband Andrew), Pembroke. Grampy to Lori Bouchard & Adam Pender (wife Loren); and Julie McCann-Townsend (husband Rob), John McCann (Joy) & Hayley McCann. He is much loved Great-Grampy/Papa Jack to Charlie & George; Noah & Vaughn; Wesley & Kenzie; and Jack, Eddie & Jace. Son of the late Ernest and Helena Hammond (nee O'Dacre). Brother of Joan Broski (Stan), Pembroke. Predeceased by siblings Frank Hammond (late Leona), Ethel Hammond, Eileen Fraser (Jim) and Mickey Hammond (late Sheila). Respecting Jack's wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation and service will take place in the spring. Arrangements are entrusted to the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home.
