FORD, Dr. John H. "Jack" (Retired Pembroke Chiropractor with extensive service to Kiwanis, Masonic Lodge and Shrine, Renfrew County District School Board and Calvin United Church.) Passed away peacefully in hospital with his family by his side on Thursday, August 26, 2010 in his 93rd year. Dr. Jack Ford of Pembroke, beloved husband of Sally Ford (nee MacPherson), and by first marriage the late Marjorie Ford (nee Moore). Dear father of Robert "Bob" Ford (Dawn), Kanata; and Anne Smith (Jack), Lake Dore. Grandfather of David Ford (Allison), Calgary, AB; Margaret-Anne Falconer (Matthew), Bath; Tammara Smith, Ottawa; Carey Smith (Desiree), Bowmanville; and great-grandfather of Grady Ford. Step-father of Dawn, Karen & Allan Sylvester; and step-grandfather of Christine, Sarah, Michael & Rayne. Brother of Joy Gess (late Myron), South Carolina, USA. Predeceased by brother James Ford. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Memorial Visitation at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Tuesday from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in Calvin United Church, Pembroke on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Interment of Ashes in Calvin United Cemetery.
