Jack was born in Hamilton on March 25, 1933, the son of Edward and Mary-Jane Blagden. Survived by his eldest brother Edward (Ted) Blagden of Hamilton.
He will be fondly remembered by his many friends and family.
Jack pursued many passions in his life. Most memorable were always shared with friends, family and the great outdoors. He had a soft spot for dogs, horses and the occasional cat. He lived his life by the "Cowboys Code of Conduct", which is the unwritten rule of fair play, loyalty, honesty, respect for the land and animals and a rock solid work ethic. He took pride in upholding this unwriten code and applying his own interpretation to the rest of life's rules.
Jack requested there is no funeral or service-cremation has taken place, internment Hamilton Cemetery.
Respectfully, we wish to thank the medical team at the Pembroke Regional Hospital for their compassion, dedication and care provided. Happy trails to you my love, until we meet again.
