Joan Kendall

KENDALL, Joan Marie (nee Semple) – passed away peacefully at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital, on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at the age of 89 years. 

Joan Kendall of Pembroke, beloved mother of Stephen Kendall & Yvonne Kendall  both of Pembroke. Cherished Nanny of Shanessa (Kirk) Noack-Metcalfe of Pembroke and treasured Great GeGe of Conell. Predeceased by her husband David and infant daughter Marie. As a military spouse, Joan spent most of her life caring for her family during their many postings in Canada and overseas, but she always fondly recalled her Nova Scotian roots. She is now reunited with the rest of her siblings; brothers – Harvey, Samuel, Arthur, Edwin, David, Gordon, Raymond & Howard (in infancy); sisters; Ola, Lillian, Isabel, Hazel, Georgie, Gwen, Mary & Margaret (in infancy).

Respecting Joan’s wishes, there will not be a funeral service. Interment of ashes will take place at St. George’s Anglican Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
