DINGLE, Joan After a short illness on Tuesday, May 2, 2011 in Toronto. Joan (nee Bachelder) of Port Perry and formerly of Deep River (born in La Tuque, QC), wife of the late Albert Dingle. Dear mother of Kevin Dingle, Lorraine Tierney and her husband Abe Slomovitz, and Barry Dingle and his wife Linda. Loved grandmother of Brock Tierney, Katrina Dingle, Crystal and Jonathan Code and great grandmother of Alexa and Carter Tierney. Survived by her sister Doris Peterson of La Tuque, QC and she was predeceased by her brothers Fred, Jethro "Buddy", Robert, Walter, Lewis, and Edward, her sister Carol Munger and her parents George and Margaret Bachelder (nee Gauley). She is survived by many nieces and nephews. The family of Joan Dingle will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Saturday, May 14th from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 2:30 p.m. with Reverend John Sullivan officiating.
