Joan Austin

AUSTIN, Joan – passed away at her home on Sunday, April 15, 2018 in her 86th year.

Joan Austin (nee Stockton) of Petawawa, wife of the late Glenn Austin.  Dear mother of Michael Austin, Petawawa; Christine Trenholme (Ross, Ottawa), Iroquois; and Joanne Austin (Michael Lamb), Toronto.  Cherished Granny to Tammy Tichko (Mike), Amanda Trenholme (Christina), Melanie & Ryan Austin; and great-grandmother of Jade Tichko.  Sister of Dorothy Pearce (late Richard), Wheatley; and the late Hazel Pyke (late Cliff).  Daughter of the late Victor and Muriel Stockton (nee Hunt).  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 2 to 4:00 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel.  Spring Interment in All Saint’s Anglican Cemetery, Petawawa.  (As an expression of sympathy, donations to Renfrew County OSPCA would be appreciated.)  Online condolences and donations are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
