Joan Anderson

ANDERSON, Joan – passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at the age of 81 years.

Joan Anderson (nee Jeffrey) of Pembroke, wife of the late Earl Anderson.  Dear mother of Vivi-Anne Thurlow, Pembroke; Dwight Anderson (Ruth), Oshawa; and Melody Rohde (Peter), Kanata.  Cherished grandmother of Trevor, Kevin (Emma) & Pamela (Tyrel); Amy (Nathan), Sarah (Ian) & Katelyn; and Jake & Mya; as well as 5 great-grandchildren: Hannah, Steven, Audrey, Ainsley & Bryce.  Daughter of the late Cecil & Edna Jeffrey (nee Viggers); and predeceased by brother Herb Jeffrey.  Survived by sisters-in-law Sandra Jeffrey & Angela Anderson, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 from 6 to 8:00 p.m.; and at Pembroke Pentecostal Tabernacle, 34 Jordan Ave. on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m.  Interment in Pembroke Pentecostal Cemetery.  (As an expression of sympathy, donations to Pembroke Pentecostal Tabernacle would be appreciated.)  Online condolences and donations are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
