Jim Gauthier

GAUTHIER, James – peacefully in his sleep at Marianhill on Sunday, May 5, 2019 in his 89th year.

James “Jim” Gauthier of Pembroke, cherished husband of the late Doris Gauthier (nee Brandenburg). Loving father of Constance Willig (Rainer), Pembroke.  Grandpa of Jason Denault (Ashley); Zachary & Tevis Gonyou-McLean and Isabella & Ronnan McLean.  Great-grandpa to Jett James Denault.  Son of the late Paul and Ellen Gauthier (nee Mulligan). Brother of the late Irene Ling (late Raymond), the late Jack “Buddy” Gauthier (late Irene) and the late Pauline Brown (Ralph). Survived by Doris’ sister Florence Witt (Eldon).  Jim will be missed by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, Pembroke on Thursday at 2:00 p.m.  Interment in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, donations to Canadian Cancer Society or CHEO would be appreciated.
