KING, Jessie Maxine Passed away peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital, on Friday, October 31, 2008, after a brief battle with cancer, in her 62nd year. Maxine King of Pembroke, caring partner of Gary Boucher. Dear mother to Laurie-Anne Duval (husband Todd Jardine), Ottawa; and Patrick James Duval (Suzanne Getty), Ottawa. Grandmother to Tyler and Hayden; and Landon. Daughter of the late William & Lizzie King (nee Miller). Sister to Gordon King, St. John's, Newfoundland. Predeceased by siblings Harvey, Joan, Jim, Ned and Chesly. Maxine will be sadly missed by many extended family and friends. Visitation at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke, on Monday from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m., and on Tuesday from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at 2:00 p.m, followed by cremation.
