Jean Yeo

YEO, Jeanie Grace - Passed away peacefully at Bonnechere Manor on the morning of Tuesday, February 2nd, 2021 in her 96th year. Jean Yeo (nee Dollar) of Pembroke and Smiths Falls, beloved wife of the late Lloyd Herbert Yeo (1984). Dear mother of Douglas Yeo (Margaret) of Smiths Falls; Marilyn Stevens (William) of Smiths Falls; Sherman Yeo (Tammy) of Smiths Falls & Karen Hammel (Carl) of Pembroke.  Cherished grandmother of Mike Stergiou, Robert Yeo & Jennifer Widdison (Rowan); Tamara Demick (Mark), Kimberly Stevens & Daniel Stevens (Tessa); Adam & Ryan Yeo (Erica); and Kyle & Amber Hammel. Great-grandmother of Samuel & Liam Nesbitt; Rhys & Izzy Widdison; and Ava & Isabelle Yeo. Predeceased by her parents William & Margaret Dollar (nee Murdoch) and by her siblings Andrew Dollar (late Ruth) & Margaret (late Don Hanson, late Ray Dunn). She will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

The Dollar family originated in Scotland. Eventually, they made the journey to Canada where they settled in Fredericton Junction, New Brunswick.  A private family visitation will take place on Sunday.  A graveside service will take place in the spring at Wesley United Cemetery.
