TAYLOR, Jean Barbara BA Passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Monday, September 15, 2008, with her "Bucket List" (to-do list) almost complete. Teacher, Wife, Mother, University Graduate (age 55!), Pilot, World Traveller, Real Estate Entrepreneur, Long-time Member of Calvin United Church and Choir, Founding Member of the Ottawa Valley Historical Society, and other adventures to numerous dimensions. Jean Taylor (nee Briscoe) of Pembroke, dearly loved wife of Stuart Taylor. Dear mother of Gordon Taylor (wife Rosemary), Ottawa; Barbara Blakney (husband Robert), Chemanus, BC; James Taylor, Calgary, AB; and Dr. Lisa (Elizabeth) Taylor, Manotick. Grandmother to Jesse Taylor; Joshua, Jessica & Jade Blakney; and Symon Taylor. Great-grandmother to Jacob & Jasmine Blakney. Daughter of the late Eric (Erie) and Ina Briscoe (nee Foy). Predeceased by sister Iona Walker. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Thursday from 2-4:00 & 7-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in Calvin United Church on Friday, September 19, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Wesley United Cemetery.
