Jean Enor Nagora

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Jean Enor Nagora at Caressent Care Nursing Home, Cobden on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 in her 88^th year.  

Jean Nagora (nee Maves), wife of 26 years to the late Kenneth Nagora.  Daughter of the late Edward and the late Edith Maves (nee Beaudry).  She leaves behind her brother Burton Maves (Sandra) and many nieces & nephews.  Predeceased by brothers Kenneth, Wilbert (late Gwendolyn), Orval (late Freda) and Gerald (Shirley).  

As a teacher with the Renfrew County Board of Education for 34 years, she will be missed by her colleagues and students.  She will be fondly remembered by her many friends at Zion Evangelical United Church and all her remaining relatives. 

Visitation will be held at Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Friday, December 22, 2023 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  A Funeral Service will be at Zion Evangelical United Church, Pembroke on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.  Spring Interment at Zion Evangelical United Cemetery, Alice.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Zion Evangelical United Church, Canadian Bible Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
