STERLING, James "Jim" Arnold (Retired from A.E.C.L.) - peacefully at Miramichi Lodge on Sunday, May 29, 2016 in his 82nd year. Jim Sterling of Pembroke, beloved husband of 60 years to Mary Sterling (nee Fleming). Loving father of Louise Armstrong (Alan), Pembroke; Wanda Edmonds (Scott), Pembroke; and Nancy Carr (John), Kingston. Loving grandpa to Jeffrey Armstrong (Julia Herring) & Jennifer Armstrong (Greg Schroeder); Sterling, Tyler & Jessica Edmonds and Brandon Carr. Great-grandpa to Hailee Schroeder. Son of the late Tom and Elizabeth Sterling (nee Davidson). Brother of Sheila Wilcox (George), Golden Lake and David (Leith), Barbados. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday from 9-10:30 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Pembroke on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. followed by cremation. Interment of ashes in St. John's Anglican Cemetery, Eganville on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 10:00 a.m..
