James "Jim" Orval Grahl

Jim Grahl of Petawawa, passed away at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at the age of 66 years, after a courageous battle with cancer. 

Cherished son of Orma Grahl (nee Woodtke) and the late Orval Grahl.  Loving father of Maggie, Emily (Adam Blagden) and Sadie.  Devoted and proud Poppa of Isaac, Austin & Abby and Landon.  Dearly loved brother of Kathy Schroeder (Brian) and Sandy Robinson (Ward).  Predeceased by sister Valerie Thrasher (Scott).  Jim will be missed by his many nephews and nieces.

Respecting Jim’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 357 Miller St., Pembroke on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.  Spring interment of ashes in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. John’s Lutheran Church would be appreciated.  Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
