Jacqueline Mae Steeves

STEEVES, Jacqueline Mae - passed away peacefully at home with Eric & Margaret by her side on Wednesday, January 15th, 2025, in her 92nd year. 

Jacqueline “Jackie” Steeves (nee Frazee) of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Ivan Steeves. Dear mother of Earl (Carole), Que; Allan (Donna), Ottawa; and Eric (Margaret-Ann), Pembroke. Jackie loved her grandchildren Allana, Carrie & Holly and 4 great-grandchildren. Daughter of the late George and Grace Frazee. Sister of Buddy (late Barbara), Marjorie (Bud), Marilyn (Ken), and Cheryl (late Reg). Predeceased by siblings James (late Vira), Phylis (late Carl), little brother Douglas and infant sister Leana. 

Jacqueline was selfless, and a fabulous knitter. Each year she joined the volunteers of the Renfrew County Red Cross Society knitting and donating hundreds of mittens to the Salvation Army, and Bernadette McCann House amongst others. She spent several years volunteering at Carefore and Marianhill where she made many wonderful friends. She will always be admired for her helpful, caring nature. 

A private family Memorial Service and Interment may be held in Moncton, New Brunswick at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Marianhill Dementia Respite Unit. Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
