KOHLSMITH, Ivon Mary Annie – passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, on Thursday, October 21, 2021 in her 99th year.

Ivon Kohlsmith (nee Nephin) of Pembroke, formerly of Kitchener, beloved wife of the late Ira Raymond Kohlsmith. Dear mother of James “Jim” (Faye), Petawawa; the late Donald “Donnie” (Carol), Kitchener; Velma Desjardins (late Gary), Pembroke; William “Bill” (Judy), Durham & Lawrence “Larry” (Kathy), Woodstock. Cherished Granny to Rick (Christine) & Stephanie Kohlsmith; Christine (Fred) Haase, Nicole (Todd) Carley, Jason (Kim) Spinelli, Shawn Kohlsmith, Kendra (Dan) Neil, Steven (Laura), Kristopher (Jenna) Kohlsmith and Melissa (Clayton) Robinson. Great-granny to 17 & great-great-granny to 4. Daughter of the late John & Lillian Nephin (nee Shelton). Survived by brother Jackie Nephin (late Alice) and by sisters Claire VanderEnde (Jim) & Sharon Galarneau (Eugene). Predeceased by siblings Myrtle (Emmett), Shelton, Hubert, Thadius (Bertha), Gilbert (late Marguerite), Adrian (Kay), Bernie (late Joyce), Lennox (Joyce), Emmett (late Carol) and infant brother Joseph. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation on Sunday, October 24, 2021 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Columbkille Cathedral, Pembroke on Monday, October 25, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. Visitation will also be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 2723 Victoria St N, Breslau, ON N0B 1M0 on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by interment in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
