Morphy, Robert Ivan- peacefully at Marianhill, Pembroke on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 in his 97th year. Ivan Morphy of Pembroke, husband of the late Helen Morphy (nee McKerracher) and by second marriage the late Janette Morphy (Smallpiece nee Sutton). Father of John Morphy, Renfrew; Jean Perkins (Gary), Petawawa; and Robert Morphy (Lien), Ajax. Grandfather of Julia Perkins, Amy Belder (Mark) & Colin Perkins and Sarah & Jacob Morphy. Great-grandfather of Sophia & Olivia Belder. Son of the late John and Charlotte Morphy (nee Wilkinson). Brother of Myrtle Murray (Bill), Chesterville and Lois Scott (late Richard "Dick"), Pembroke. Predeceased by sisters Muriel Maxwell (late Frank), Phyllis Adrian (late Howard), Dorothy Dupley (Bill) and Hazel Creswick (late Doug). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation is at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Sunday, September 25, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Pembroke on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Cobden Union Cemetery on Monday at 2:00 p.m. The Royal Canadian Legion is requested to assemble for a Legion Service on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Holy Trinity Anglican Church or the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 72 would be appreciated.
