McKAY, Ivan Lloyd (Retired, after 35 years of dedication to AECL) - passed away peacefully at Marianhill, Pembroke on Saturday, September 27, 2014 in his 80th year. Ivan McKay of Petawawa, beloved husband of Jeannette McKay (nee Jones) and by first marriage the late Elliette Kelly. Loving father of Cindy Fabian (Colin), Killaloe; and Shelly Sawyer (Ron), Chalk River. Loving step-father of Carol Lirantzis (Aristomenis), Scarborough; and Maureen Moss (Michael), Lapasse. Cherished grandfather and great-grandfather. Son of the late Lloyd and Florence McKay (nee Kean). Brother of Donald McKay (late Shirley), Burlington; Jean Allan (late Garry), Deep River; and Harvey McKay (Karen), Bobcaygeon. Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. Andrew's United Church, Chalk River on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Forest View Cemetery, Chalk River.
