GRIESE, Isobel Margaret Passed away peacefully in Pembroke on Friday, January 22, 2010 in her 96th year. Isobel Griese (nee Handke) of Pembroke wife of the late Mervyn Griese. Daughter of the late Herman & Martha (Nellie) Handke (nee McEwan). Predeceased by her brother Clifford Handke and sisters Alma Valiquette, Edythe Piasetzki (LeBarron) and sisters-in-law Beatrice (Wells) Scott; Marion (Bill) Wiseman and Florence Quait. Survived by brother-in-law Jack Quait and nieces and nephews Sandra (Harold) Woods; Bea Quait; Catherine (Carson) Hunter; Michael (Michele) Smith; Bob (Bev) Valiquette; Alex (Ruthann) LeBarron and Lloyd LeBarron. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Monday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday morning at Zion Evangelical United Church from 10-11:00 a.m. Service in Zion Evangelical United Church on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Spring Interment in Zion Evangelical United Cemetery.
