BROWN, Isobel - it is with great sadness, the family of Isobel announce her peaceful passing at Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at the age of 92 years. Isobel Brown (nee McQuestion), a person of great fondness for life and people, beloved wife of the late William J. (Bill) Brown. Loving mother of Robert Brown (Beverley), Niagara Falls; Karen Stewart (Monty), Pembroke; and Leslie Brown, Kitchener. Daughter of the late Victor and Edith McQuestion. Predeceased by brothers Leslie, Kenneth; Earl (Irene) & Floyd (Ellen) and sister Lois Atkinson. Survived by sister Sonia Mulloy (late Don), Watertown, N.Y. Grandmother of Kimberley & Christopher; John & Tracy; and Heather & Cheryl. Great-grandmother to Claire & Annie; Meagan, Victoria & Callista; and Xavier. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Miramichi Lodge for all your special care, especially of 3A. A special thank you to Dr. Baxter and Nurse Practitioner, Jean Benton. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke where the family will receive friends and family on Friday, October 18, 2013 from 7-9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 1:00-3:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel.
