Isabella Demers

DEMERS, Isabella - passed away suddenly at the Ottawa General Hospital on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at the age of 89 years.

Isabella Demers (nee Woermke) of Pembroke, wife of the late Edward Demers.  Dear mother of Kevin Demers (Sara), Embrun; and Michael Demers (Kathy), Pembroke.  Grandmother of Taylor McKillop (Brett) & Mackenzie Demers; and Tara Sullivan (Rodney) & Ryan Sullivan.  Great-grandmother of Autumn, Haesel & Bethany; and Jacob.  Daughter of the late Frederick & Emma Woermke (nee Lubow) and sister of Margaret, Alfred, Marie, Frederick & Norma.  Predeceased by Ernest, Elfrieda, Edna, Leonard, Harold & Esther.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Wednesday, February 21 and Thursday, February 22 from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m.  Funeral Service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, Pembroke on Friday at 11:00 a.m.  Spring interment in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.  (As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. John's Lutheran Church Quilters would be appreciated.)  Online condolences and donations are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
