GRIFFITH, Ida Muriel Passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Friday, January 7, 2011 in her 95th year. Ida Griffith (nee McVeety), originally of Micksburg, wife of the late Ken Griffith. Dear mother of Lois Moss (Roger), Pembroke; and Debbie McGinnis (Ron), Micksburg. Predeceased by Irwin Griffith (Gladys), Cobden; Cora Petrucha (late Phil); and Jim Griffith (Jenny), Deep River. Grandmother of Wayne & Glenn; Peter & Teresa; Paul; Jeff & Stephanie; and Tara & Matthew. Predeceased by grandson Michael. Great-grandmother of Michael & Jenna, and Ryan & Colin. Sister of Marjorie Towns (late Robert), Hynford. Predeceased by Elmer McVeety, Delta Parolin (late Earl), Welsley McVeety (late Stella), and Collin McVeety (late Lucy). Daughter of the late Henry & Teresa McVeety. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Respecting Ida's wishes, there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held in St. Thomas Anglican Church, Rankin. on Monday, January 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment of Ashes in the Parish Cemetery in the Spring.
