SMITH, Howard G. J. "Smith Taxi" Passed away suddenly at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at the age of 86 years. Howard Smith of Pembroke, beloved husband of Phyllis Smith (nee Hunt). Predeceased by son Gerry Smith and brother Ellwood Smith (Shirley). Son of the late James & Eleanor Smith (nee Hawkins). Survived by 7 nieces & nephews and a very dear friend Mike Mireault. By request there will be no visitation. A Graveside Service will be held in Wesley United Cemetery on Monday at 10 a.m. (As an expression of sympathy donations to the Alzheimer's Society or the Charity Of Your Choice would be appreciated).
