Howard Palmer

Palmer, Howard Glen (Retired Sargeant, 1RCR) Passed away suddenly at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the age of 52. Loving husband of Barb (nee Hanstead). Cherished father of Brittney and Nolan. Son of Bella and the late Bob Palmer. Brother of Fred (Doris), Ron (Candice), Marj (Don), Norm (Jeanne) and Hazel (Don). Son in-law of Judy and the late Bruce Hanstead. Dear brother in-law to Heather Kirbyson (John). He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and many great nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Monday, December 21, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke. A funeral service will be held at St. Georges Chapel (CFB Petawawa), on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the National Military Cemetery (Beechwood Cemetery) to take place at a later date.
