FICK, Hildegarde Mabel At her home, Pembroke on Wednesday, October 26, 2011. Hildegarde Fick (nee Brose) wife of the late Ellard Fick. Dear mother of Bill Fick (Donald Fowler), London. Sister of Harry Brose (wife Lillian), Eganville. Predeceased by brother Wilfred Brose (wife Florence), Round Lake and infant brother Edmund. Survived by five nieces and nephews. Hildegarde was a faithful member of Zion Lutheran E.L.W.; and actively involved in numerous organizations including the Golden Age Group; The Golden Leaves Club, Royal Canadian Legion Branch #72 Ladies Auxillary, L.O.B.A, Horticultural Society, Historical Society, Alexandra Club, Renfrew County Fiddlers, President of the former Germanicus Women's Institute, member of the former Pleasantview Women's Institute, and member of the Locksley/Rankin Women's Institute. Hildegarde enjoyed to keep busy at many crafts and hobbies. Resting at the Malcolm Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St, Pembroke on Saturday, October 29, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in Zion Lutheran Church on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
