Hilda Koss-Deschamps (nee Nitschke), formerly of Airport Rd., Petawawa, wife of the late Albert Koss and by second marriage the late Oscar Deschamps. Dear mother of Evelyn Lehman (husband late Garnet), Cobden; Jean Baker (husband Harvey), Pembroke; Kenneth Koss (wife Margaret), Petawawa; Verner Koss (wife Beth), Petawawa; Phyllis Discher (husband late Lloyd), Pembroke; and Donna Reiss (husband Danny), Petawawa. Gramma to13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Daughter of the late Otto and Lena Nitschke (nee Fischer). Sister of Wilbert Nitschke (wife Anne), Petawawa; Lawrence Nitschke (wife Anne), Petawawa; Eleanor McKnight (husband Herb), Sault Ste Marie; and Eileen Lehman (husband late Enard), Kitchener, B.C. Predeceased by Herbert Nitschke (wife Viola), Petawawa;, Helen Lusk (husband late Peter), Edna Goldt (husband late Arthur), and Fred Nitschke (wife Ethel), Pembroke. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Malcolm Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. Service at Christ Lutheran Church, Petawawa on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Christ Lutheran Cemetery.
