BURGER. Herman Robert Paul Passed away peacefully at Marianhill, Pembroke on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at 75 years of age. Herman Burger of Pembroke, dearly loved husband of Margaret Burger (nee Gorr). Dear father of Paul Burger (Barbara), Pembroke; Martin Burger (Sheena), Little Britain; Leona Lubitz (Kevin), Pembroke; and Dalton Burger (Cindy), Stouffville. Predeceased by infant son Gordon. Cherished Grandpa to James, Darren & Katelyn; Nicholas, Matthew & Kelsey; and Ryland, Thomas & Jack. Brother of Ella Ross (Jim), Round Lake; Benjamin Burger (Evelyn), Carleton Place; Dorothy Goldt (Earl), Petawawa; and Audrey Powell (Dick), Kitchener. Predeceased by brothers Ludwig, Adolph, Leonard & Edward; and sisters Frieda Hammel & Alice Mielke. Son of the late Paul & Elsa Burger (nee Bohn), and son-in-law of Ernstena Gorr, Pembroke. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke, on Friday from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in Mount Zion United Church, MacGregor's Hill, on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Wilberforce United Cemetery.
