MARQUARDT, Herbert Hugo (Life-time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #72, the Royal Canadian Air Force Association Wing #438 and retired from Canada Manpower) Peacefully with family by his side in Marianhill, Pembroke on Friday, August 14, 2009 in his 86th year. Herbert Marquardt of Pembroke, beloved husband of Marian Marquardt (nee Purvis). Dear father of Robert Marquardt (Sandra), Pembroke. Dear grandfather of Sherri-Lynn Marquardt and great-grandfather of Darian and Jessie. Son of the late Adolph and Alma Marquardt. Predeceased by brothers Lawrence & Clifford Marquardt and sisters Malinda Swant & Hilda Heyder. Herb will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in First Presbyterian Church, Pembroke on Monday, August 17, 2009 at 2 p.m. followed by cremation.
