Peacefully in Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke on Friday, April 4th, 2008 at the age of 91 years.
Herbert Kaden, formerly of Deep River, dearly loved husband of the late Pauline Kaden (nee Humble). Dear father of Ronald Kaden (wife Karen), Nepean. Grandpa to Kenneth Kaden (wife Julie), Collingwood; and Ryan Kaden, Toronto. Son of the late Bruno and Auguste Kaden (nee Leder). Brother of Ida Jackson, Winnipeg; and Lillian Provan (late Charlie), Kingston. Predeceased by sister Clara Stencell (late Arthur); and brothers William (Gert), Kitchener; Lorne (Alice), Pembroke; and Albert Kaden. The family wishes to thank the Staff of Miramichi Lodge (3B) and Heritage Manor who lovingly cared for Dad over the last few years.
Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, l4l Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Monday, April 7th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.; and at Faith Lutheran Church, Deep River on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to time of service at 11 a.m. Interment in the Deep River Community Cemetery. (As an expression of sympathy, donations to Faith Lutheran Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated). Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 72 are requested to assemble at the Funeral Home for service on Monday evening at 7:30 p.m.
