JONAS, Helen Mary Peacefully in Marianhill, Pembroke on Sunday, September 9th, 2007 at the age of 87 years. Helen Jonas (nee Redman) of 341 Everett Street, Pembroke, dearly loved wife of the late Herbert Jonas. Dear mother of Sheila Peever, Bruce Jonas (wife Mary Lou), and David Jonas (wife Maureen), all of Pembroke. Predeceased by infant daughter Elizabeth Mary Jonas. Grandmother to Jamie, Christopher, Jeffrey and Jennifer Jonas; Crystal Courtney (husband Jason), and Nathan Jonas. Great grandmother of Zoee Courtney. Daughter of the late Emil and Helena Redman (nee Bochert). Sister of Mable Jensen (husband Fred), Ottawa. Predeceased by sisters Clara Dittburner, Vera Redman, and Lillian Moran; brothers Herbert and Harold Redman; and half-sisters Alma Weckworth, Hilda Weatherall, and Elsie Ginn. Resting at the Malcolm Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service in Zion Lutheran Church on Wednesday, September 12th at 11 a.m. Interment in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
