BAKAUTZKI, Helen Passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the age of 88 years. Helen Bakautzki (nee Hänke) of Pembroke, wife of the late Frank Bakautzki. Mother of Gwen, Monika and Karin. Grandmother of Mike, Tricia (Steve), Krista, Zachary and Nicholas. Great-grandmother of Jessica and Emily. Survived by her siblings Herta, Siegfried and Dorle in Canada; and Herbert, Ruth, Willi and Günther in Germany. Long-time friend of Hans. As an active member of the Germania Club for over 50 years, Helen will be fondly remembered by many. A Memorial Service will be held in St. Timothy's Lutheran Church, 503 Alfred St., Pembroke on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 2:00 p.m., followed by a time of fellowship in the Church Hall. Spring Interment of Ashes in Zion/St. Timothy's Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke. Arrangements by the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, Pembroke.
