HAWTHORNE, Hazel Irene Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Ottawa Heart Institute on Saturday, May 5, 2007 in her 84th year. Hazel Hawthorne (nee Hawthorne) of Beachburg, a resident of Country Haven Retirement Home, beloved wife of the late Elmer Hawthorne. Dearly loved mother of David Hawthorne (Kim), Kingston; Sharon Gaudette (husband Norm), Skead; Larry Hawthorne (wife Judy), Beachburg; and Kevin Hawthorne (wife Gayle), also of Beachburg. Dear grandmother of Colin; Dawn (Ben); Marc (Julie); Jeffrey (Crystal); Tracy; Sheri (Derek); and Steven (Shelley). Predeceased by granddaughter Carrie-Ann. Great-grandmother of Taylor, Candace, Mathieu, Tyler, Ryan and Makenna. Sister of Mabel Thibeau (late husband Harris), Lively and Eric Hawthorne (wife Marjorie), Petawawa. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Monday from 2-4:00 and 7-9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 12 noon - 2:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a reception in Hamilton Hall.
