FRANCIS, Hayden - passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Ottawa General Hospital on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the age of 94 years. Hayden Francis of Pembroke, beloved husband of Dorothy Francis (nee Griese). Dear father of Helen Hamilton (Ron), Round Lake; Betty Tabbert (Hilbert), Pembroke; Cliff Francis (Tamara), Calgary; and Nancy Lytle (Travis), Toronto. Grandfather of Jennifer Moore (Kent) & Patti Gorr (Corey); Christine, Reid (Carole) & Scott (Wendy) Tabbert; Renée, Christopher (Keeli), Laurel, and Gavin Francis; and Adrian (Brenna) & Mark Preston. Great-grandfather of Jared and Rachel Moore; Abby and Mackenzie Gorr; Ryleigh & Raegan Tabbert; Macaila, Peyton, Alanna & Olivia Tabbert; and Myles & Daphne Francis. Son of the late Charles and Essie Francis (nee Phillips). Brother of Essie Scott (late Bill), Cobden and Rachel Felske (late Verner), Eganville. Predeceased by sister Gladys Whitmore and brothers Garnet, Eldon, Keith and infant Kenneth. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Petawawa Presbyterian Church on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Spring Interment in Rosebank Cemetery, Haley Station.
