SLY, Harry (Previous Owner of Harry's Service Centre) Suddenly but peacefully after a brief illness in hospital, Pembroke on Friday, December 21, 2007 at the age of 64 years. Harry Sly of 108 Cheryl Street, Pembroke, dearly loved husband of Brenda Sly (nee McIntyre). Dear father of Laurie Ann Klawitter (husband Brent), Pembroke; Wendy Sly (Terry Waito), Petawawa; and Rebecca Sly (Dennis Ryan), Kanata. Proud and loving poppa of Lukas, Will, Adam, and Kelsy; and also to Wendy and Terry's upcoming arrival. Son of the late Roy and Erma Sly (nee Pettigrew). Brother of Murray Sly (wife Shirley), Cobden; and Edna Mulvihill (husband Pat), Pembroke. Predeceased by an infant sister. Harry will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, l4l Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Wednesday, December 26th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.; and Thursday from 10a.m. to 12 noon. Service in Wesley United Church, Pembroke on Thursday at 2 p.m. Spring interment in the Cobden Union Cemetery.
