WELK, Harold Edward Passed away in Country Haven Nursing Home, Beachburg on Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at the age of 76 years. Harold Welk, formerly of Petawawa beloved husband of the late Betty Welk (nee Clouthier). Dear father of Keith Welk, Calgary, AB; Conrad Welk, London, ON; and Kenneth Welk, Calgary, AB. Predeceased by daughter Betty-Lou. Grandfather of Shauneen. Brother of Beatrice McConnell (late husband Alex), Pembroke. Predeceased by brothers George, Bill, Ernest, Edward, & Herbert Welk and sisters Frieda Marklew, Ruby Scheuneman and Evelyn Welk. Survived by 1 niece and several nephews. Son of the late Frederick & Ida Welk (nee Jergens). Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Monday from 9-11:00 a.m. followed by prayers in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow (As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated).
