THOM, Harold John Albert Suddenly at his home on Monday, December 27th, 2010 at the age of 88 years. Harold Thom of Pembroke, dearly loved husband of 67 years to Gloria Thom (nee Bradley). Dear father of Marilyn Plath (Weldon), Pembroke; Donald Thom (Wendy Thompson), London; Evelyn Krieglstein (Andy), Shanty Bay, Ontario; Valerie Sandever (James), Victoria, B.C.; Leslie Thom (Valerie), Perretton; Gordon Thom (Leanne), Cobden; Robert Thom (Karen), Barrhaven; Lloyd Thom (Sharon), Greeley; and Darwin Thom (Cheryl), Stittsville. Predeceased by daughter Irene Thom. Dearly loved grandpa to 21 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Son of the late John and Frieda Thom (nee Yahn). Brother of Eldon Thom (late Viola), Pembroke; Shirley Nolan (late Jack), Pembroke; and Doris Biesenthal (late Harry), Pembroke. Predeceased by brothers Roy Thom (wife Ruth), Pembroke; and Earl Yahn (late Iris). Survived by several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.; and Friday after 11 a.m. Service in the Chapel on Friday at 1 p.m. followed by cremation.
