HEFFERNAN, Harold Gerard "Gerry" (MWO, Retired after 33 years) Passed away peacefully at Marianhill on Friday, February 15, 2008, in his 66th year. Gerry Heffernan of Petawawa, beloved husband of Lisa Heffernan (nee Volmer). Loving father of Diane, Petawawa; and Ron (Evelyn), Dartmouth, N.S. Beloved Grampa of Makayla. Son of the late Edward and Lillian Heffernan (nee Fox). Predeceased by 2 sisters and 1 brother. Survived by 6 brothers and 3 sisters as well as many nieces and nephews. Respecting Gerry's wishes, his remains have been bequeathed to the University of Ottawa School of Anatomy. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 2 p.m. (In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated.)
