Harm DeVeen

Passed away at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at the age of 80 years.

Harm DeVeen of Pembroke, known for many years as a farmer in the Cobden area, husband of Audrey DeVeen (nee Roth). Father of John DeVeen (Kateri) and Nicolette Lapierre (Mark). Grandfather to 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Son of the late Johannes and Aaltje DeVeen. Brother of Jack (Mina) and Ivan (Gertrude). Predeceased by brother Albert (Anne).

Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Monday, September 2, 2024 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 12:00 p.m. A private family interment in Wesley United Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Mercy Ships, Effect Hope (The Leprosy Mission Canada) or International Fellowship of Christians and Jews would be appreciated.
