Harley McDowell

McDowell, Harley – passed away peacefully with loving family by his side on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at the age of 69 years.

Harley McDowell of Pembroke, husband of 38 years to Barb McDowell (nee Gallagher).  Father of Alyson Henry (Marc) and Stephen McDowell (Robyn).  Step-father of Tara Kennedy.  Grandpa to Chloe, Xander & Jorja and Kaelyn & Reaghan.  Brother of Brian McDowell (Nicole).

Harley was a passionate teacher and dedicated coach.  He was often found gracing the school halls, touring the golf course or partaking in any field, court or ice activity. 

Respecting Harley’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  The family plans to celebrate his life in the ways in which it was lived with family, friends and laughter.
